Get in the air
The broom is the travel tool that makes Finral optional. Summon it with H, or D-pad up on console. Click to mount. Hold Shift to boost. Mana drains while you fly, and boosting drains it faster. If you fall immediately, put a few points into Mana and try again.
Recorded sources for the first broom:
- A broom-balance mission. You steady the broom by clicking against its tilt.
- A Magic Broom inside the medium chest from Tony's bandit quest, in one recording.
- Brooms awarded for completing missions.
An August 2026 early-access video also shows a balance quest and a broom before the tower. That recording needed a much higher level for the first Grimoire than the October beta opening, so use it for flight practice, not for the current crystal route.
Spawn crystals
Each area has a glowing spawn crystal. Interact with it and set your spawn. Leave nearest-spawn enabled. A Chain Bandit death already demonstrated the point: you return to the closest crystal instead of Hage.
Finral's fee
Finral teleports between map areas. The recorded price is about 1,100 Yuls. A broom flight costs no Yuls. An approximately 80 Robux pass removes the fee permanently. Skip the pass until the fee is actually annoying you.
Places worth knowing
Hage is the hub. The church holds the Priest. The bench is right of the spawn crystal. The furnace is beside the church. The merchant sells the Wooden Sword. The fish seller buys catches. Nero and Finral are in the starting area.
The Grimoire Tower is the compass icon. The Chain Bandit quest sits about 1,200 meters along that road.
The AFK World is not a map zone you walk to. Open it from the start-your-journey menu when you are done playing.
Fishing as a travel loop
Buy or craft a rod, fish a river or the sea, and sell ordinary catches to the fish dealer. Class bonuses name the cash Yuls. One fishing note calls the dealer payout Iuns. Those may be the same currency under two spellings, so read the dealer window. Keep Golden Marlin fragments either way. They are the craft material, not the vendor trash.
Uncommon bait, luck potions, and easier-fishing potions are the documented ways to make the Marlin route less miserable. Codes have paid Fishing Ease Potion II, Fishing Ease Potion V, and Legendary Bait.
